• Since 2024: Research Associate/Postdoc at the Professorship Microbial Biotechnology, Technical University of Munich (TUM), Campus Straubing for Biotechnology and Sustainability.
• 2020 – 2024: PhD student in the working group General and Molecular Microbiology at the Institute for Chemistry and Biology of the Marine Environment of the Carl von Ossietzky University Oldenburg. Thesis: “Growth performance and carbohydrate metabolism of the anaerobic gut bacterium Phocaeicola vulgatus“.
• 2016 – 2019: Master of Science in Bioprocess Engineering at the Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH). Thesis: “Kinetic characterization of an enzymatic catalyst including its application in a reactive dividing wall column on a pilot plant scale” at the Institute of Process and Plant Engineering of TUHH.
• 2016-2017: Erasmus exchange year at the Aalto University in Espoo, Finland. Study program: Biotechnology.
